A diabetic question...My friend just found out she is a diabetic?
She explains about how many grams of sugar she can have. She is on a pill and insulin shot. If you are a diabetic shouldnt you limit your sugar intake? She eats junk food all the time and lots of candy. Am I not under standing what this is all about?IM not judging my friend at all. I just want to understand it a little better.

Diabetic with a UTI. Correct diagnosis?
Okay, so I'm a 17 year old female, and I've known I've had diabetes for 2 years now. Lately I've had the symptoms of a UTI Painful and frequent urination, little urine, cloudy, etc . I went to the clinic about a month ago. They gave me some antibiotics 2 a day for a week and said that I probably had a UTI. I took the antibiotics, and I felt better, but I still occasionally had difficulty going. I told my mom about it, and she said to just leave it. Recently, it's gotten way worse. Does this sound like it's actually a UTI? I've heard diabetics have trouble with recurring urinary track infections, but seeing as I never actually felt 100 % better, does it sound like a correct diagnosis? Or was I just not on the meds long enough? I'm really worried.
